Day 1: ARRIVE AT KILIMANJARO INTERNATIONAL AIRPORT
We will meet you at Kilimanjaro International Airport and transfer to your overnight
lodge. Inspired by the grace and romance of a fine 'old-time' coffee plantation,
Arusha Coffee Lodge is a luxurious recreation of a bygone era. Built upon
the grounds of Tanzania's largest working coffee plantation, the Arusha Coffee
Lodge is surrounded by endless acres of berry-laden coffee bushes. Each of the
20 multi-level suites features a grand, four-poster bed and distinctive wood-paneled
walls, as well as its own coffee percolator. Guests can make the morning's
coffee using freshly ground beans plucked right outside their windows!

Day 2: TARANGIRE NATIONAL PARK (day 1 on safari)
We will leave early in the morning after breakfast for Tarangire National Park. Your
first experience of safari life will be the thrilling game drive through the
vastness of Tarangire National Park. Game driving through the park, you will
marvel at the beauty of this pristine wilderness before arriving at our overnight
lodge which is located in the middle of the Tarangire wilderness Oliver's
Camp features only 8 beautifully furnished guest tents with solid wooden furniture,
beautiful cloth and gorgeous warm showers that can be taken under the
Tarangire sky. Every evening, guests relax or read in the lounge and library tent,
or drink sundowners at the fireplace, from which superb views of landscape
and sunset can be enjoyed.

3:
LAKE
MANYARA
NATIONAL PARK (day 2 on safari)
We will leave early in the morning for Lake Manyara National Park and arrive at park
gate late morning. We will spend the rest of the day game viewing in the park
and around the lake which is known for its big population of Flamingos. At sunset
we will drive to our overnight lodge which is perched on the edge of Mto
wa Mbu escarpment, and overlooks the Great Rift Valley and the Manyara soda lake.
The extraordinary birdlife of Manyara has made this place renowned amongst the
ornithologists. The interior décor of each of the rooms, circular in shape indigenous
to the traditional architect, depict the bird migration pattern creating
a scene of idyllic serenity.

Day 4: SERENGETI NATIONAL PARK (day 3 on
safari)
We will leave after a leisurely breakfast and drive through the small town of Karatu
towards Ngorongoro conservation area. We will drive around the main
Ngorongoro
Crater rim while game viewing towards the Serengeti endless plains. If
you are interested we can make a stop and visit a Masai Boma (village) to learn
and explore their traditions and ways of life. You will have a chance to see
them performing their traditional dances and if interested you can join in the
dance to add something to your adventure resume! After the visit we will proceed
with our game drive with another stop at Olduvai Gorge, site of Louis and Mary
Leakey's famous discoveries of man's ancient ancestors, the Zinjanthropus Bosei.
We will take tour of the site and the museum. After the tour we will proceed
with our drive to Serengeti via shifting sand, where we will be amazed by this
big pile of sand that has been moving many miles for years and years. We will
continue to Naabi Hill gate where we will register and start game viewing in Serengeti
towards our overnight camp. Kusini Camp is a permanent luxury tented camp,
perfectly sited in a cluster of kopjes where it blends seamlessly into the
delicate environment of the predator-rich plains of the Serengeti. Kusini's twelve
tents feature ensuite bathrooms with showers and elevated terraces overlooking
the Serengeti plains.

5: SERENGETI NATIONAL PARK (day 4 on safari)
We will leave very early in the morning for sunrise game drive when animals are very
active grazing on the grasslands and the predators are busy hunting. We will
spend the entire day game viewing and following the great migration of wildebeests
and a big number of predators hunting them as they migrate. We will take
a picnic lunch under an acacia tree. In the evening we will return to our luxury
camp for overnight.

6: SERENGETI NATIONAL PARK (day 5 on safari)
Today we will leave after breakfast and spend the day game viewing on route to the
western corridor with picnic lunch on the way at a designated picnic site. We
will stop at the Retima hippo pool where you will have an opportunity of getting
out of the vehicle and walk to the river to view the hippos together with crocodiles
at a close proximity. We will arrive at our next overnight camp for dinner.
Kirawira Luxury Tented Camp is lusciously set upon a hill of the Western
Corridor of Serengeti, offering views of the endless savanna allowing you to feel
the soul of the African wilderness in close proximity. The Victorian era outpost
with Tanzanian element set in the remote regions of the Grumeti River is home

Day 7: SERENGETI NATIONAL PARK (day 6 on safari)
We will leave after leisurely breakfast for game drive in Western part of the Serengeti.
We will spend part of the day game viewing on the grasslands and the Grumeti
River Valley, which is one of most remote and secluded areas of the Serengeti.
In the afternoon we will return to the lodge for hot lunch and a short break.
There will be an optional evening game drive or you are welcome to simply
relax and enjoy the activities that the Camp has to offer.

Day 8: NGORONGORO CONSERVATION AREA (day 7 on safari)
Today we will leave after leisurely breakfast and make our way towards Central Serengeti
while game viewing on the way. We will game drive towards Seronera River
Valley, an area rich with wildlife year round and is set high on the saddle of
tree-clad ridge commanding panoramic views over the endlessly rolling reaches
and volcanic reefs of the Serengeti. We will proceed with our drive to the Ngorongoro
conservation area while game viewing on the way. We will arrive for dinner
at our overnight lodge which is built on the rim with spectacular views of
the crater. Ngorongoro Serena lodge exists in perfect harmony with the natural
environment. Awarded the green globe, the plant and ivy-covered stone camouflaged
lodge has elegant rooms ornately decorated with local materials. Most of the
rooms have a private terrace offering incredible views of the vast conservation
area inhabited by the Maasai tribe as well as an abundant variety of wildlife
and birdlife.

9:
NGORONGORO MAIN CRATER TOUR
(day 8 on safari)
We will wake up early in the morning and start driving down the Ngorongoro crater
which is about 2000 feet deep and 14 miles wide. The crater hosts a remarkable
wildlife spectacle. There is savanna, bush land, forests and lakes, inhabited
by the same range of game, from Elephant to Lion to Wildebeest; there is even a
soda lake for the Flamingos. We will spend the day exploring the Ngorongoro crater
which is a World Heritage Site, home to nearly 25,000 animals, giving you
a very real chance of spotting the big five: lion, elephant, endangered black rhino,
buffalo and leopard plus countless other African mammal species. Witness
the magnificent array of habitats, each with its own unique wildlife and flora.
Take time out to stretch your legs and enjoy a picnic lunch at Ngoitokitok Springs
watching the hippos jostle for position in the water. After lunch we will
proceed with game viewing and in the evening, we will drive to our next overnight
lodge a lovely farmhouse converted to a lodge run by a German couple; the lodge
offers fresh foods from their farm, home cooked style. This cozy homely lodge
built within a coffee plantation overlooks the beautiful hills and valleys of
Karatu, a region known for its coffee plantations, sugar cane and rice fields.
The beautiful well-kept gardens with a variety of flowers are very inviting for
a walk in the evenings.

Day 10: DRIVE TO ARUSHA & FLY BACK
HOME (day 9 on safari)
Today we will leave after leisurely breakfast and drive back to Arusha with few stops
at souvenirs shops on the way, which are beautifully decorated and full of
high quality authentic artworks, sculptures, antiques, fabrics and textiles from
Tanzania. In Arusha we will transfer you to Arusha Coffee Lodge where you will
have lunch and a day room to relax and freshen up. In the evening we will transfer
you the airport to catch your flight back home.
